Come across

Searching the net, I came across another unrealistic advertisement which I've grown fondly of. I am becoming interested in Advertisement that gets to the point, and aesthetically pleases an audience with creativeness, uniqueness and Surreal.

Advertising:

Advertising can be anywhere in any surrounding. This advertisement on the side of this building is well done; that is, interesting to look at and in keeping with its surroundings. This clever outdoor advertising presumably meant to build awareness and add to the hip factor of the Mini Cooper automotive brand. The limitation of this is those that don't have perfect vision may not be aware that its advertisement, but just art.

8 Ways to look at Art

1. Is the Art Creative?
2. Is there an emotional connection?
3. Is the work intelligent?
4. Is there a spiritual connection?
5. Is the work challenging?
6. Is there a high level of craftsmanship?
7. Is the work Humorous?
8. Is the work commercially successful?

High Speed Photography

These photos were taken by Lex Augusteijn who is an amateur Dutch photographer who specializes in high speed photography. These amazing photos stop bullets in mid flight as they hit an object. He also captures some shots of liquid in mid splash.

Cutting Thoughts On Graphic Design

www.ttthings.com
Through the time that I've been studying Graphic Design as a student, I have come to believe it's study that I love. I admire the commitment and dedication of time towards logo's, promotional advertisement etc that is seen and becoming more common with the advance of technology in todays society. As I open my eyes to these works, I try to experience the Design Process enforced when developing a certain logo or poster that I may be walking past on Darby St or through the TAFE.

From the Design Institute of Australia (DIA- www.dia.org.au) they define Graphic designer's as somewhat of a visual communicator. As designers they develop and prepare information for publication with particular emphasis on clarity of communication and the matching of informations styles to audience requirements.

These images are what I've admired from certain websites referenced underneath each image. This gives a basic idea of the skill presented by Graphic Designers.
